PROJECT OVERVIEW...
Luxury 3-storey new-build 5-bedroom home in Sydney’s exclusive Rose Bay overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Features include custom designed finishes from a number of our international collaborators including 100% custom designed internal furniture manufactured by one of Asia’s most renowned furniture suppliers, normally manufacturing for Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton and Mandarin Oriental Hotels, custom rugs from Tai Ping, custom hand carved external stone wall by Jaipur’s famous Frozen Music studio, hand-carved Master Bathroom Marble tiles by Italian Studio Kreoo, several hand-made tile patterns including the external courtyard floor from US-based New Ravenna, coral stone pool deck tiles from the Dominican Republic, natural turquoise stone cladding for the swimming pool from Indonesia and a custom hair-on-hide wall cladding for the Master Bedroom from Texas-based artist Kyle Bunting, all imported for the project by Dreamtime.

PROJECT OVERVIEW...
We were asked to design a new residential house for a large Sydney-based family on a stunning waterfront lot in Sydney’s Yowie Bay. Besides the usual requirements for the required number of bedrooms, bathrooms, office, etc. was that there be sufficient space to entertain their extended family on weekends and holidays and that each bedroom reflect the personality of their children, which is why each room has differing fabric panels.
As the client was a fan of our previous eclectic work and the fact that our results were always “warm” and “comfortable” in their opinion, they were totally open to how we would suggest the house look and feel, in addition to the layout of the areas.
As the lot was very wooded and directly on the harbour overlooking the National Park across the water we saw this as more of a weekender than an urban family home, and decided to use the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired house in Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest movie as inspiration as the area had a very “Lake Tahoe” feel, and worked to create a warm, comfortable home that was both sensible and user-friendly while at the same time dramatic and memorable.

Design of several unique luxury penthouses with stunning views over Middle Harbour and the Pacific Ocean beyond.
A solid front acoustical wall façade features a 3.5 metre high glass water feature with a roof level planter above with the front forecourt framed by 2 majestic Canary Island Palms in hewn stone planters.
Each penthouse features the highest quality finishes, lighting fixtures and landscaping.
All boast a glass mosaic swimming pool, temperature controlled wine cellar in the kitchen, fireplace in the 3 open-able side living room, fireplace in the master bath and a leather tiled master bedroom.
